Cadac Dometic Carri Chef 40 BBQ/Dome

The lightweight Carri Chef 40 offers endless outdoor foodie opportunities. From setup to storage, it’s the ultimate gas barbecue. Robust and compact with a high performance burner allowing for outdoor cooking, anywhere, any time.

With automatic piezo ignition, this easy to use and assemble unit comes complete with an adjustable foot on one leg allowing you to obtain stability on uneven ground, ideal for campsites.

The dome lid, with stay-cool handle and thermometer, hooks onto the side of the BBQ to act as a windshield, and the utility shelf provides safe seating of the Cadac Power Pak gas supply.

The 39cm BBQ Grid is ceramic GreenGrill coated, for quick heat up times, even heat distribution and easy cleaning. Perfect for all styles of BBQ cooking; ensuring those all important sear marks on griddled veggies and steaks. Modular system compatible, all Series 40 cooking surfaces can be used on the Carri Chef 40 – whip up a paella or pizza with ease.

The enamelled fat pan has flame ‘peep’ holes and lifts out for easy cleaning, and for when not in use the unit packs down compactly into a durable storage bag for when not in use. A separate padded leg bag is included for easy storage of the legs.

Your gas supply

Cadac Carri Chef 40 barbecues will run off either Butane or Propane gas, which regulates between 28-30mBar (Butane) and 37mBar (Propane).

Cadac don’t supply a regulator and hose with any of our barbecues. As they can be run from multiple gas sources there isn’t one single regulator which can be used for all the different gas sources. Therefore our regulator and hoses are sold separately, so that our customers can make sure they have one that is appropriate to their gas source.
